Hello from Greece! We (Mr Matyus, Miss Reese and Miss Manship) have been in Rafina, near Athens, since early on Thursday morning. We have visited lots of the local historic sights and been to see our partner school. It was lovely to have a quick chat with the kids and a tour round the school, we even had a dance and theatre show later on in the week! It has been good to see all the work the Greek partners have been doing; it all looks great! We have had some productive meetings and we are ready to go back to school and keep working on the project!

As we enter the second half of the project we will begin looking at traditional dances from our country. Our pupils will learn some popular folk dances from Wales and Britain and we're excited about filming them to show to the other countries! Later on this year we will examine traditional children's games and hopefully we will be able to teach some of these games to our partners when they come to visit Wales in the summer term. Hwyl fawr!

As part of the ‘My Environment’ section of the project, our pupils have been making 3D models of local historical buildings. These have featured models of Welsh castles and buildings from Cardiff Bay. Our children have visited many of the historical sites and they have loved learning about their significance in Welsh history.
